The islands on Lake Titicaca are renown for their crafts, especially on Amantaní and Taquile. The woollen items are generally of a high quality, although they are also more expensive than on the mainland.
There are also a few basic shops on the islands selling snacks and drinks. These have limited supplies and are about 50% more expensive than in Puno.
