Currently, the only way to get to Nazca is by bus, as the airport only serves for flights over the lines. There is talk of building an airport to receive flights from Lima, but this is unlikely in the short term. There is no central bus station, and each company has its own offices. These are all concentrated on Av. Los Incas, close to the large roundabout. Ormeño and Civa are the best companies with offices in Nazca. Cruz del Sur buses do not stop in Nazca.
Lima
There are plenty of buses daily to Lima, which is about 7 hours away. Many start in Nazca, so you don't have to catch a bus passing through. Ormeño has six buses from 7am to 11pm.
Ica
Ica is about 2 hours from Nazca. The easiest way to get there is by taking a minibus, leaving from the roundabout every twenty minutes or so.
Pisco
Pisco is about 3 hours from Nazca. Most buses heading to Lima do not enter Pisco, and so leave you on the Pan-American Highway about 5km from the town. This is not a problem as there is plenty of transport into Pisco from the highway. Ormeño has a Royal Class service that enters Paracas and Pisco.
The south
Arequipa is about 8 hours from Nazca. Ormeño has buses at 4pm, 9pm, 11pm, 2am and 4am.
Tacna is 12 hours from Nazca. Ormeño has buses leaving at 5pm, 8pm and 4am.
To get to Chala, either catch a bus heading south, or catch a colectivo leaving from the roundabout. The journey takes 3 hours.
Cusco
There are a few direct buses from Nazca to Cusco, which take about 17 hours (much longer in the rainy season). A Civa bus from Lima passes through Nazca at around midnight. Expreso Wari also has several buses to Cusco, leaving at 4pm, 6pm, 8pm and 10pm. The Expreso Wari offices are outside of Nazca on the Pan-American Highway, but tickets can be bought from the Carhuamayo office opposite the Ormeño office.
