The Easter week festival is celebrated with processions throughout of the region.

The Fiesta de las Cruces is celebrated in the main towns.

June 6

The anniversary of the Battle of Higos Urco celebrates the independence of Chachapoyas in 1821. This is the main tourist week in Chachapoyas.

July 16

In Leymebamba the festival of the patron saint, the Virgen del Carmen, is celebrated.

Aug 15

In Chachapoyas the festival of the patron saint, the Virgen de Asunta, is celebrated. Many tourist activities are carried out in this period.

Sep 5

The anniversary of Chachapoyas is celebrated. In Rodríguez de Mendoza the festival of the patron saint San Nicolás is celebrated, and in Lamud the festival of the patron saint the Señor de Gualamita is celebrated.
