Accommodation in Máncora is generally relatively affordable. However, in the high season over the New Year, around Easter and near the Independence Day celebrations at the end of July, prices tend to triple or more. Only a couple of the hotels on Las Pocitas have hot water.
The best hotels near Máncora are all on the beach of Las Pocitas. There are no shops or restaurants here, and the hotels all have their own restaurants. The beaches are almost private as they are practically only used by the guests of the hotels.
The cheapest accommodation is in Máncora itself. The places in the south of town are closer to the beach. None of the hotels has hot water.
