Things to take home
The towns around Piura are famous for their crafts. Chulucanas produces some fine and distinctive pottery, which is for sale in Piura and other towns around. Catacaos is also a major craft centre, noted especially for its silver filigree work. Here, silver and coral jewellery is relatively cheap.

The largest supermarket is Costo on Ovalo Grau. Minimarket Carito, at Grau 165, also has a relatively good selection.
