There are a few decent seafood restaurants in Chimbote, including El Puerto ($$-$$$) on Av. Aguirre near the sea and Romero ($$-$$$) on the 8th block of Av. Bolognesi. The best restaurant in Chimbote is that of the Hotel Chimú ($$$). El Sabrosito Restaurant ($-$$) at Jr. Villavicencio 429, just off the Plaza, has a decent, cheap set lunch.
