Bars, clubs and discos
Pucallpa has a lively night scene at weekends when young locals tend to fill up the clubs. The most popular clubs are not in the centre of Pucallpa, but in Yarinacocha. El Mandingo (Av. Bellavista 1050), and La Granja, both on the road to Pucallpa, are the best clubs in Pucallpa itself, although many of the most popular places are in Yarinacocha at weekends, including the Shimbillo, a restaurant which becomes a lively disco on Saturdays and Sundays.
Cinemas
There is a small, rather poor cinema showing Hollywood releases on Av. San Martín, opposite the Hotel Sol del Oriente
