The nicest place for a drink is in one of the many bars or cafes on Malecón Maldonado alongside the river. The Arandú Bar is very pleasant, and the Fitzcarraldo and La Noche are also good places for a drink. The best club in town is Noa Noa (Fitzcarrald 298), which is popular with locals.
