Bars, clubs and discos
Ayacucho is quite lively at weekends, although quiet during the rest of the week. Los Balcones, on Jr. Asamblea, one block from the Plaza, is a very popular disco/peña. Los Warpas, on Jr. Mariscal Cáceres, is a lively disco from Thursday to Saturday.

There is a rather poor cinema at Jr. 9 de diciembre 159.
