You are officially not allowed to take food into the ruins of Machu Picchu, although it is not difficult to take a few snacks in. The only restaurant at the ruins is at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. Here there is a rather expensive cafeteria. A hamburger costs around $5 and the good buffet lunch is $20.
