A very expensive hotel, run by the Orient Express Group, whose main selling point is its incredible location just outside the ruins. Some rooms have wonderful views towards Huayna Picchu and the ruins (although most do not). The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, although a bit small. There is a good restaurant and a small garden. Service is excellent. Prices are $326 for a single room, $352 for a standard double, $364 for a double with a view and $450 for a suite. The hotel only has 31 rooms, and these fill up very quickly, so reservations are essential.
